Zimbabwe: Thrills, Spills in Primaries

[The Herald]ZANU-PF primary elections ended peacefully in most constituencies yesterday, with a number of new faces trouncing heavyweights and sitting legislators. There was massive turnout in some constituencies, with Cde Auxillia Mnangagwa amassing over 17 000 votes in Kwekwe-Chirumanzu. Results from most areas had been released by last night, although voting was still in progress in areas like Mbire and Bindura, while counting was on in Harare and other parts of the country.
