The organiser of the beauty pageant, Neo Thuma said the event was aimed at bringing Francistown tertiary students together and to promote the spirit of oneness. She said the event would also assist students to find solutions to challenges such as alcohol and drug abuse.

Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture officer, Ms Minkie Bokole commended the youth for celebrating themselves and expressed hope that the event would be bigger in the future. She said the event should be in such a way that other districts would emulate it.
