Kalamare club, Man Machine, will play in the First Division North promotional playoffs slated for Selebi Phikwe Stadium.

Man Machine has won the Division One League in the Central South Region after finishing the season undefeated with 10 wins and two draws to garner 32 points.

Mahalapye United finished in second place with 31 points in the seven team division. In an interview, the Central South Regional Football Association public relations officer, Mogonono Maseba said Man Machine will play against champions from three other regions.

These are Selebi Phikwe, Tswapong and Francistown. Maseba said they managed to finish the league on time without any protests from teams.

He lamented that they finished the season without any sponsor coming on board to sponsor the league. He also said they came up with a rule, which compelled teams to play with 40 per cent under-20 players and teams followed the rule.

As a result, many young players got exposure resulting in be Mobile Premier League and Debswana First Division teams expressing interest in signing them.

Furthermore, Maseba said even though they did not meet all their objectives in the just ended season they managed to host football courses which benefited their affiliates and referees.
