Phase 4 Kgotla Construction Deferred

| April 13, 2015

Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development say he is aware that Phase 4 customary court plot was allocated on April 1, 2003 and the construction of the kgotla offices was deferred.

Mr France Van Der Westhuizen told Parliament that construction of Phase 4 kgotla office was deferred together with those of Mochudi, Molepolole and Lobatse due to recession. He however said the construction of kgotla offices would be considered alongside other competing priority projects during NDP 11.

MP for Francistown South, Mr Wynter Mmolotsi had asked the assistant minister if he was aware of the Phase 4 customary court plot in Francistown that was allocated many years ago and wanted the minister to state when the kgotla offices would be constructed at that plot.
