Gaborone - Log leaders Rolling Boys travel to Lesirane City on Saturday February 27 with an aim to maintain their slight lead in the Debswana First Division south league.

The Boys head into the match at Lesirane Ground on the back of a great form, having gone 11 consecutive matches without defeat since going down to Prisons XI 1-0 in September last year.

They assumed the log leadership by beating Tsabong Black Rangers 1-0 last weekend after promotion rivals Black Forest slipped to a shock defeat at in-form Sharps Electrical.

Coach Thaloba Nthaga's team is perched at the top with 29 points from 15 matches, while Forest trail with 28 points.

Forest, however, have a game in hand after their match against Black Rangers was postponed a fortnight ago.

In an interview ahead of the match on Thursday, Nthaga said it was important for Rolling Boys to continue winning so that they maintain their lead.

Nthaga who has in the past guided Black Peril and Letlapeng to the Premiership said though the promotion fight was still open, his team was at an advantage because it was at the top.

"It is an advantage for us that we are at the top, but the race is still open to four or five teams.

Having gone such a long time without losing shows how confident we are as a team," he said.

In other Saturday fixtures, in-form Sharps Electrical will be aiming to continue their push towards a playoffs spot when they meet relegation haunted Tsabong Black Rangers at Sharps Ground.

Letlapeng will welcome Mogoditshane Fighters in Ramotswa.

Promotion chasing Black Forest hosts Notwane in Mmankgodi on Sunday, while Mochudi Rovers will take on Uniao Flamingo Santos in Mochudi.

Struggling Modipane United will visit the equally struggling Prisons XI at the SSG Ground.

Meanwhile, in the Debswana First Division north matches to be played on Saturday, Kazungula Young Fighters host bottom club Palapye All Stars at Prisons Ground, Great North Tigers welcomes log leaders Mahalapye Hotspurs at Francistown Old Stadium and relegation threatened Tsabotlhe entertains Real Movers at Newtown Ground in Serowe.

Another match will see third placed Sua Flamingoes taking on the resurgent Maun Tigers at Sowa Stadium.

Tonota FC will entertain Tafic at Rutwang Ground on Sunday while second placed Ecco City Greens meet Tasc in the second city derby to be played at Francistown Old Stadium.

Matches will kick-off at 4pm.
