Doubts linger as DRC peace talks resume

KAMPALA, 12 September 2013 (IRIN) – After months of delay, peace talks between the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and M23 rebels are back on, at the urging of regional leaders. But analysts remain sceptical that a truce can be achieved after more than a year and a half of intermittent fighting in eastern DRC's North Kivu Province.
