EMERGING AFRICAN ENTREPRENEURS HOLD FIRST BUSINESS MEETING IN LUANDA

LUANDA, The African community of emerging entrepreneurs, called "The Hook-up Dinner" (THUD), will holds its first business meeting in Angola on Luanda Island on Thursday.

The organization said in a media statement here Tuesday that the event, called the THUDluanda dinner, would be attended by entrepreneurs and investors, with the purpose of promoting networking among the guests and helping to finance the business.

The dinner will see a business presentation involving five Angolan entrepreneurs and a lecture by two entrepreneurs.

Founded in South Africa by young entrepreneurs, the connecting dinner is being held in several African cities in the 15-nation Southern African Development Community (SADC) sub-regional grouping.

THUD is an African community of emerging entrepreneurs with ideas to change the world, united by three core values -- Connect, Undertake and Contribute to each other's success.
