Minct Holds 4th National Conference On Science, Technology (allAfrica.com)

The Ministry of Science and Technology (Minct) will hold from 9-11 September in Luanda, the 4th National Conference on Science and Technology, held under the motto “Together for strengthening the integration of science, technology and innovation in the the country’s development strategy.

According to a press release arrived Monday to Angop, the event is an opportunity for Angolan and foreign researchers and actors of the National System of Science and Technology to present the results of their investigations and provide a discussion around the challenges of scientific research in Angola.

According to the document, in the event it is expected about 300 people, including members of the Government, domestic and foreign experts, United Nations representatives and the European Union, lecturers, students and potential business investors.

Some prominence will be given to researchers from countries such as South Africa, Botswana, Brazil, Canada, Cuba, Spain, USA, France, Mozambique, Portugal and Zimbabwe.
