Mokaila leaves for Lesotho

The Minister of Minerals, Energy and Water resources, Mr Kitso Mokaila will leave for Lesotho on November 18 to 21 attend the minister’s ordinary meeting of the Orange-Senqu River Commission (ORASECOM) forum of the parties.

The meeting is expected to consider decisions of ministers reached at their meeting in Windhoek, in August 2014.

Some of the decision items for consideration by ministers include the revision of the ORASECOM agreement and institutional review and state party contribution including the Lesotho highlands water transfer to Botswana.

Mr Mokaila will also attend the inauguration of the Motolong Dam on November 20, and is expected back home on November 21, 2015.
