Palapye Hospital receives 200 blankets (Botswana Daily News)

Speaking during the handover ceremony at Palapye the hospital recently, the World Group of Companies representative, Mr Mbako Mpuchane said when the need for blankets at Palapye Hospital was brought to the attention of the company, the management realised the need to assist the sick.

Builders World is part of the World Group of Companies. He said the company saw it fit to take the opportunity to give back to the community.

He said since the commencement of the establishment’s business operations in 2005, Builders World Palapye has tirelessly lent a helping hand to project collaborations and contributed towards the building of homes for the needy, participated in the annual clean-up campaign, educational projects where it assisted local schools to attain all the necessities they needed to deliver and meet the educational needs of the country’s future leaders.

Builders World Palapye, he said, would like to emulate the commendable example set by the group through its legacy of social responsibility.

We at Builders World are humbled and privileged to be playing our part in helping Botswana to realise her vision of becoming a caring and compassionate nation, he said.

Receiving the blankets on behalf of the hospital, acting chief medical officer, Ms Onai Diura-Vere thanked Builders World Palapye for the blankets.

She encouraged other companies to follow suit by providing resources that would enable health workers to provide better medical services.
