The Sport Protocol signed between Botswana and Brazil when President, Luda Da Silva of Brazil visited Botswana has yielded positive results for the country.
Responding to a parliamentary question, Minister of Youth, Sport and Culture, Mr Thapelo Olopeng said four football coaches were trained in Brazil under the protocol.
Mr Olopeng said no football coaches were promised to Botswana.Therefore, he said he did not expect any football coaches to come from Brazil anytime soon under the said protocol.
Member of Parliament for Tati West, Mr Biggie Butale had asked the minister on the progress made in the actualisation of the Sport Protocol signed when the President of Brazil, Luda da Silva was last in Botswana, and if any football coaches were promised to Botswana.
