State House Official Honors Late Former President Buhari

Abuja: The Permanent Secretary to the State House, Mr. Temitope Fashedemi, has paid tribute to the late former President Muhammadu Buhari, recognizing him as an elder statesman committed to nation-building.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Fashedemi expressed his admiration in a condolence register at the State House, Abuja. This gesture aligns with President Bola Tinubu's directive for condolence registers to be placed in all Federal Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, as well as Nigerian Embassies and Missions worldwide.

In his tribute, Fashedemi commended Buhari's integrity and dedication to improving the living conditions of ordinary Nigerians. He wrote, "Our dearly departed former President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, You were indeed a great man with passion for duty and totally focused on nation building." He emphasized Buhari's commitment to public service and his focus on enhancing the livelihood of citizens, particularly the underprivileged.

Fashedemi also reflected on his experiences working with Buhari, noting the former President's deep commitment to Nigeria's progress. He stated, "For those of us in the State House and the larger Public Service, we can vouch for your concern for the nation and that you gave your best to our country Nigeria. You will be forever missed."

In his concluding remarks, Fashedemi offered prayers for divine mercy and eternal rest for Buhari.
