We’re Under Attack by Saboteurs, NNPC Ltd Management Cries Out

Abuja: The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has revealed a coordinated sabotage campaign orchestrated by a syndicate of both known and anonymous actors targeting the organization from within and outside.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the NNPC Ltd. management issued a statement on Friday highlighting that the group is actively disseminating lies and misinformation to discredit the company’s leadership. This campaign, they claim, is an attempt to derail the company’s ongoing transformation into a corruption-free and performance-driven energy enterprise, aligning with the mandate of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The statement further elaborated on the tactics employed by the saboteurs, which include planting scandalous and fabricated reports designed to distract leadership, mislead the public, and undermine the commitment of the organization’s dedicated workforce and reform-minded Nigerians. These efforts are seen as calculated moves by those who feel threatened by reform, transparency, and accountability, aiming to obstruct the transformation of Nigeria’s foremost energy institution.

NNPC Ltd. anticipates an increase in defamatory content in the near future but remains steadfast in its mission. The company reassured that the transformation is underway, and no amount of sabotage will halt its progress. It also urged its dedicated staff, stakeholders, and all patriotic Nigerians to remain focused, ignore the distractions, and not be discouraged.
