Zimbabwe: Court Orders President to Proclaim Poll Dates By July 31

[The Herald]The Constitutional Court has ordered President Mugabe to proclaim dates for the crunch harmonised elections by July 31 this year, clearing uncertainty over the holding of the country’s landmark polls. Chief Justice Godfrey Chidyausiku made the ruling at the Constitutional Court today in this case in which a Harare man Jealousy Mawarire was seeking an order compelling the President to proclaim the election date.
