Abuja: The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) endorsed President Bola Tinubu as the sole candidate of the party for the 2027 Presidential election. Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the Chairman of the party, along with other committee members, announced this endorsement at the party’s National Summit in Abuja.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, Dr. Ganduje described the endorsement by the NWC as the culmination of earlier endorsements from the Progressive Governors Forum and the leadership of the National Assembly. He expressed gratitude to the Governor of the Progressive Governors Forum, the National Assembly leadership, and other stakeholders for their support in endorsing President Tinubu. Dr. Ganduje affirmed that the NWC is the only legally recognized platform to field a candidate in any election for the party.

He stated that Nigerians want to reward President Tinubu for his effective leadership by re-electing him for a second term.
