Niger CAN Applauds Governor Bago on Second Year Milestone


Minna: The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Niger has extended its congratulations to Governor Umaru Bago as he marks two years in office.



According to News Agency of Nigeria, Rev. Bulus Yohanna, the Chairman of CAN in Niger, issued a statement in Minna on Thursday highlighting the governor’s achievements during his tenure. Yohanna praised Bago’s dedication to transforming the state, particularly noting advancements in road rehabilitation and reconstruction, education, agriculture, as well as women and youth development, and healthcare services.



Rev. Yohanna expressed gratitude for the governor’s leadership and prayed for his continued wisdom, protection, guidance, and health. He called on the residents of Niger to support the governor and assured that the Christian community would continue to keep him in their prayers. Rev. Yohanna emphasized that Governor Bago has made a remarkable mark in the state’s history since its establishment over forty years ago.



He further commended the governor for prioritizing key sectors such as education, agriculture, women and youth development, and healthcare services, alongside efforts in reconstructing and rehabilitating feeder roads throughout the state’s 25 local government areas.
