Samburu Hospital Enhances Diagnostic Services with New CT Scan Machine

Samburu: The Samburu government has installed a new Computerized Tomography (CT) scan machine at the county referral hospital, aiming to improve the diagnosis of various medical conditions.

According to Kenya News Agency, the county Chief Officer for Medical Services, Josephat Lenguris, highlighted the benefits of the new machine’s imaging capabilities in diagnosing diseases across different parts of the human body. The machine was received from Sunview Medipro Company and is expected to significantly enhance the hospital’s diagnostic services.

Lenguris also mentioned that 11 medical officers, including radiographers, biomedical engineers, and radiologists, have been trained to operate the machine, ensuring its effective utilization in patient care.
